Hamsathvani's Music Path

Hamsathvani a young musician born in Srilanka. She stats to enjoy her mothers music at her earlier childhoods and learned it from her mom Mrs.Nalayini Somasundharam. also she studied carnatic music under Mr.Varnakulasingam & her grand-mom Mrs. Bawani Merugiri.

Hamsathvani did her first perfomence at  Kotahena Varatharaja vinayagar temple at he age 9.
followed by this she started to perform many concerts.
School level music competitions and stage shows brought out her talent to the world.
She won many awards & First prizes in inter school & Other Music competitions. 
In 2007 Hamsathvani participated in Shakthi super star (talent show) and won the second runner up title.


After his Advance level studies got ICCR (Indian council of cultural relations) scholarship to continue higher studies in India. with their help she have successfully completed her 
Bachelors & Master  degree in Carnatic music at Annamalai university- India.
Dew to that period she was trained under the guru Mr.G.N.K.Sundar Deekshithar's monitoring. 
her guru tuned her as a professional musician.  

Obtained Bachelor of Music (B.Music) Degree with Carnatic music specialization at Annamalai University India. (2007-2010) (First class highest marks in the B.Music) Studied under ICCR Scholar ship

Obtained Master of Music (M.Music) Degree with Carnatic music specialization at Annamalai University India. (2010-2012) (First class highest marks in the M.Music)  

Currently she is  working as a Music Lecturer at "Ramanathan academy of fine arts - university of Jaffna"
